Client Profile
Responsibilities

The candidate should feel excited and inspired by the wealth growing trend in Asia and would like to be part of the new wealth building process in this part of the globe. Client Advisors are responsible for establishing and developing lasting relationships with high-net-worth individuals in Asia. The Client Advisor is the focal point for each client relationship and works closely with each client to understand their wealth objectives and deliver winning financial solutions by leveraging The Private Bank's robust portfolio construction process.

  • Manage (own) all aspects of the client relationship
  • Cultivate a healthy list of prospects ¡§C actively convert prospects to clients
  • Diagnose each clients wealth objectives and investment requirements
  • Propose, deliver and execute solutions for clients ¡§C leveraging our full product suite (Banking, Investment Management, Credit, Trusts, Insurance)
  • Work in partnership with client service teams to deliver high quality service
  • Deal effectively with client requests and issues
  • Maximize the relationship with each client
  • Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, profit opportunities, risks and key wealth management topics
  • Responsible for client sponsorship / Know Your Client (KYC)

Core Functional Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day activities of Investors assigned to supporting teams. In conjunction with senior management on both the Client Relationship and Global Investment Solutions side, develops and executes the team business plan for providing Investor services to clients
  • Actively involved with Team members in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • May assist in developing new products based on market/client needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Along with Market Manager, provides guidance and supervision to Investors
  • May be the lead contact on certain complex accounts

New Business & Relationship Management Responsibility

  • Leads teams in implementing Investment strategy for new business efforts
  • Develops new business
  • Assists in new product development
  • Typically have ten or more years of investment experience along with strong client and people management skills

Key Distinction of Position Level

  • Manages a team of Investors in a Region
  • Experienced client relationship manager with extensive investment product knowledge
Requirements

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • Around 8 years experience at wealth management firms
  • Demonstrable client management skills and client development experience
  • Strong believer in focusing on business scalability and efficiency
  • Strong aptitude for sales management, including passion for prospecting
  • Sound knowledge of core wealth management product set
  • Experience in the Hong Kong and other Asian wealth markets
  • Positive attitude and passion for the wealth management business
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Education / Professional qualification:

  • Degree Qualified or Higher

Language requirements:

  • English, with Chinese and other Asian dialects a plus
